A moderate trail leads through meadows and fields, and then ascends to the Tselela Pass through mixed forest of juniper, bamboo, magnolia and rhododendron. The people of Gogona speak a language called henked which literally translated would mean the earliest language. Overnight in camp.
A gentle climb leads to Shobjula (altitude 3,500 m) and then descends to a wide-open valley. Overnight in camp.
A short climb to the Tashila Pass (altitude 2,800 m). Walk down a long way through continuously changing vegetation into the lower valley till you reach the road head. Overnight at the hotel in Punakha.
